Compensation: $30-$35/hour commensurate with experience plus paid sick days, holidays, and vacation days, and mileage reimbursement at the IRS mileage rate.

Schedule: Monday to Friday or Monday to Thursday from 12:00/1:00 pm to 5:00/6:00 pm. The family is flexible and could also start some days closer to 2:00 pm if a later start time is needed.

Household:

• A friendly, outgoing, and fun-loving family is seeking a part-time nanny/family assistant for their two children, ages 10 and 12 years old. The family also has an older child who does not need care. The family is active and loves sports (baseball, golf, skiing, basketball, rock climbing, soccer and swimming). 
• The family has a small cute pup so please be dog-friendly.
• Mom works from home full time and dad works from home 50% of the time. 
• The two boys are loving, kind, energetic, respectful, and fun. They get along well and are supportive of each other. They are involved in several after school activities. 
• The family loves when the boys are out and about (e.g. Dave and Busters, Rock n’ Jump, the skate park, parks, museums, etc.) when they don’t have a scheduled after school practice or class. 

Ideal Candidate:

• Someone who demonstrates a proactive and self-driven approach to tasks, anticipating needs and taking initiative is needed.
• They would love to work with someone who has a positive and cheerful demeanor that brings a warm and light-hearted atmosphere to the household.
• Someone reliable, organized, and comfortable coordinating and planning playdates and engaging activities. Prioritize punctuality and self-sufficiency while contributing to the smooth operation of the household is desired.

Duties:

• During school hours, duties include family laundry, grocery shopping, handling weekly errands such as dry cleaning, UPS store visits, and online order pickups.
• Light tidying up (the family has a regular housekeeper), such as unloading/loading the dishwasher, keeping the common areas organized and tidy.
• School pick up and driving to activities, homework support, and planning playdates and activities.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of paid, professional childcare experience that occurred over the age of 18 (not for family or friends) with excellent references
• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and a clean driving record
• Legal work authorization in the U.S.
• English fluency
