We are a small but busy fast paced breakfast diner in need of a new team/family member. We have a wonderful staff and weekend manager but need a new super star weekday manager. We pride ourselves on fresh hot food, big portions and a cup of coffee that is always full. Good old fashioned service with a smile!
We are looking for a motivated self-starter with experience managing a team of 10 or more. Must have a strong sense of hospitality as we encourage our staff to interact with the guest and other staff. A happy diner is a happy work place. A willingness to learn our daily operations so we can operate efficiently and effectively while providing exception customer service.
Duties will include but not limited to: management of daily operations, inventory control, management of labor, customer service, shopping, cleaning, covering shifts as server/dishwasher/busser if needed. Must have, Valid Driver’s License, Manager Serve Safe Certificate, Ability to lift 30lbs, Assisting other kitchen staff. Example: Help unload shipments of food and supplies that are needed in the kitchen, serving customers to their satisfactions, Oversees the daily operations from ordering, purchasing, receiving, storage, and preparation of all food products to guest relations, flow of business, and service standards, Oversees the flow of the business during business hours. Responsible for financial operations of restaurant: accuracy of register, reconciliation of tips, calling vendors when needed. Responsible for all human resource related to the crew. Forecasting the need for product based on inventory counts. Participates in interviews and selection of new crew. Must speak English. Willing to work closely with weekend manager to ensure all the restaurants needs are met.
