Position Summary 

Responsible for performing assigned mechanical and electromechanical assembly duties according to established processes and procedures and within quality and yield parameters. 

Position Responsibilities 

• Perform basic assembly duties on one or more lines within acceptable cycle time and yield standards. • Conduct simple auto, stress and bench testing by using work instructions and Lead Assembler direction. • Perform newly assigned basic assembly duties within acceptable ramp-up time. Learn new duties via work instructions and Lead Assembler direction. • Consistently exhibit strong “soft skills” by being dependable for scheduling, willing to be flexible as need (work late, start early, swap shifts, work Saturdays), willing to volunteer for ad hoc assignments as needed, and be a positive influence on team morale (e.g. being upbeat, enthusiastic and eager to help the company). • Other job duties, as assigned. 

Position Requirements • Some assembly or equivalent work experience (>1 year) • Ability to read work instructions and communicate effectively with coworkers in English • Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including sitting and standing, and performing repetitive motions required for proper assembly with or without a reasonable accommodation
