In-person Instructors (Elementary Math)

Established after-school math enrichment program is looking for Instructors to teach elementary math from Grade 1 to Grade 6. 

The position is based in the Bothell location. Instructors must be willing to work Saturday.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Attend weekly material reviews and review classwork videos. 
• Follow weekly learning objectives and use techniques and strategies specific to the program.
• Create a conducive learning environment through good classroom management techniques.
• Ensure lessons are completed in a timely manner with good time management.
• Foster interactive learning environment to encourage participation. 
• Establish good relationships with students and report on their progress.
• Work closely with staff member, when necessary

Position requirements:

• Quick learner and able to use prescribed techniques and strategies. 
• Good communication skills; verbal and written.
• Personable with ability to develop rapport with young learners.
• Prior experience working with young children in a similar setting is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Good interpersonal, organization and time management skills.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Salary: $40 - $50 per hour
