Our organization is seeking experienced and qualified Security Officers to join our team of professional staff. The Security Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive protection for our company and all of our operations, property and employees. This position requires all candidates to report to contracted locations, have a professional demeanor and regular interactions with clients, suppliers and vendors. A successful candidate will also have a commitment to a safe work environment, along with professional monitoring, reporting and maintenance of all security equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Protect company resources from theft and sabotage.
• Respond to threats and emergencies.
• Monitors an assigned area: reports situations or suspicious activity to employer or authorities.
• Inspect property and monitor crowds.
• Monitor the security of company premises and ensure it is compliant with industry regulations.
• Maintain a safe work environment for company employees.
• Contact law enforcement incase an emergency.
• Conduct regular patrols to check for any signs of unauthorized access or suspicious activity
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, and take appropriate action as necessary
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with any security-related inquiries or concerns
• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

• Guard Card (Preferred)

· Ability to patrol and access areas quickly.

· Ability to get along with other employees and supervisors, follow directions, and always give your best effort.

· Must have reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of standing

· Must be able to walk for long periods of time.

· Walking up and down stairs

· Must be 18 years of age or older.

· Ability to lift up to 20 pounds at a time.

· Pass a background test.
