Teachers and Exam prep instructors

Huntington Learning Center of Cupertino is looking for teachers of math, english, science subjects for high school and middle school students. We are also looking for instructors that will train to become our distinguished digital SAT and ACT program instructors.  Paid training available for exam tutors that score in the 95th percentile.

Job Description & Responsibilities

Tutors are paid to complete the Hunting Teacher Certification Program and additional ongoing training.
Instruct students in a maximum 3:1 student, teacher ratio.
Keep detailed records of learninng sessions using Huntington computer systems and apps.
Work closely with Center Director or program manger to meet students academic goals.
Track and analyze student progress.
Motivate, build confidence, and reward 


Position Qualifications

Bachelor Degree or higher is required
AP-level knowledge in at least one or more subjects preferred (English, Humanities, Math, and/or Science).
High SAT or ACT scores preferred. We're looking for teachers who can score at or above the 95 percentile.
Dependable, and dynamic individuals with strong communication skills.
No previous teaching or tutoring experience required. 
Passion for making a difference in students education.
Teacher certification a super bonus plus.
