HEY DOG LOVERS!

BoWags is currently hiring for a passionate, enthusiastic EXPERIENCED Dog Handler to join our overly popular Walk And Train program!
This is an entry-level position, but demonstration of good character and strong work ethic and dedication can lead to a position with future growth.

The Ideal Candidate Requirments and Daily Duties:

- A love for all dogs

- Has a basic knowledge of dog breeds, behaviors and an understanding of dogs body language

- Lives in Sonoma County

- Responsible, reliable, and punctual

- Minimum 1 year professional experience in the canine industry

- Has a valid California driver's licenses

- Minimum of 3 years driving experience with a clean driving record

- Fit and comfortable walking 3+ miles / day with upwards of 10 medium to large breed dogs

- Ability to warmly interact with clients when picking up or dropping off dogs

- The ability to work independently but takes directions and asks for help if needed

- The ability to work together with your team of handlers

- Can pass a back ground check with flying colors

- Able to rock a 3L water hydration pack on your back for the dogs to stay hydrated

- Has good judgement and uses common sense to troubleshoot any issues

- Ability to relax and have fun while working. Our walkers should enjoy the adventures as much as the dogs!

- Be available Monday through Friday from roughly 8am - 3pm

- RAIN OR SHINE NO EXCUSES!

- Comfortable picking up dogs one by one and transporting from client homes to trail and back - lots of driving!

- Greet clients in friendly and professional manner during pickups and drop-offs

- One energetic hike of 3+ miles with up to 10 leashed dogs / day beginning at 8 am M - F in Sebastopol

- Supervise and manage dogs during care (includes cleaning up after them!)

- Daily reporting to employer of fun pictures and videos, dog behavior and health updates
