As a full service general contractor and custom cabinet making company located in San Rafael, we are currently looking to add a Jack-of-all-Trades to become our company’s “Fixer”. We are seeking a highly motivated, versatile and experienced individual to join our team in a dynamic and growing company. We are looking for someone to be responsible for taking on various roles within our construction projects.

Required skills/qualifications:
- Trade skills: Proficiency in multiple construction trades, i.e. plumbing, carpentry, and electrical experience.
- Problem solving abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues on-site. Adaptability to handle unforeseen challenges and changes in project requirements.
- Construction Knowledge: A strong understanding of general construction principles and practices. Ability to operate a wide range of construction equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Relevant certifications or licenses in specific trades is a plus
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations

Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with our shop manager, project managers, general manager, and owners to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Ensure that all production activities are in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Plumbing: Assist with plumbing installations and repairs as required.
- Electrical experience: Support electrical work such as wiring and fixture installation.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with team members, subcontractors and clients.

Compensation will be based on experience and is negotiable. We have grown a lot since our start 8 years ago and are looking for an individual who wants to grow and expand with us.

This position is part time with flexible hours, with room to become full-time.

Pay scale: $40-$50/hr
