<h2><strong>Job description</strong></h2><p>Synergy Children’s Therapy is expanding, and we are currently looking for a speech pathologist interested in working with wonderful clients in our office, Monday through Friday building up to a full-time caseload. This is currently a 1099 contract position with the opportunity to change over time. The ideal candidate would be willing to accept incoming and established clients to provide effective, efficient, one-on-one therapy. We are looking for a therapist who is experienced in working with school-aged children, as well as preschool children (1-4 years of age). With so many terrific private speech therapy companies out there, it could be difficult to choose which one you want to join. At Synergy we are going to be a “one stop shop”. In the next few months, we will be adding OT and PT to include a sensory gym. Angie, the owner and speech pathologist, is also a mother of six with two children with autism, and fully understands the need for flexibility, and balance in work and personal life. Thank you!</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.<br>- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' specific needs.<br>- Provide therapy sessions to improve clients' speech and language skills.<br>- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and educators, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.<br>- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.<br>- Provide counseling and support to clients and their families.<br>- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.</p><p>Experience:</p><p>- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.<br>- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.<br>- Previous experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist is preferred.<br>- Knowledge of various assessment tools and therapy techniques.<br>- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<br>- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p><p>Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract</p><p>Salary: $36.00 - $55.00 per hour</p><p>Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week</p><p>Benefits:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Medical specialties:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Pediatrics</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Schedule:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Work setting:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>In-person</li><li>Private practice</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Work Location: In person</p>
