Job Description: As an Event Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of events. Your responsibilities will include the setup and dismantling of AV and drapery equipment at various events. During events, you will be the go-to person for troubleshooting technical issues, all while maintaining a collaborative approach to ensure the event's success.

Requirements:

• Enthusiastic, customer-centric mindset with a genuine passion for working with people.
• Proficiency with hardware and technical equipment.
• Punctuality, politeness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs, including upstairs if necessary.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure, resourceful, and committed to event success.
• Reliable transportation and a professional appearance.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and troubleshoot basic sound, lighting, drapery, and video hardware on-site.
• Pay meticulous attention to event design and details.
• Interact warmly and efficiently with guests to provide a seamless event experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• An eye for event styling and design.
• Prior experience in the wedding industry or other event-related roles.

Please describe any prior experience you have with troubleshooting equipment and/or setting up and breaking down events, highlighting your technical expertise.

Our events often host 100 or more attendees, with strict adherence to state guidelines and provision of appropriate PPE. Are you comfortable with this requirement, and have you been vaccinated?

Do you own a car or have reliable access to one? This is essential for event attendance.

Experience:

• Wedding industry or other events: 1 year (Preferred)

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
