Apricot Lane Boutique Sandy Springs opened earlier this year at Fountain Oaks Shopping Center located in Sandy Springs/North Chastain. Now that we have established the business we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to oversee daily operations as the Store Manager.
Apricot Lane is a stylish boutique filled with the latest women’s apparel, accessories, and gifts. Apricot Lane is a franchise with local owners who personally buy all merchandise for the market in their community. Our mission is to create a boutique environment where guests and employees experience positive impact during every encounter. Our ultimate goal is to make Apricot Lane “her favorite place to shop!”

Retail sales and merchandising experience is required for this role; boutique experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of the organization
· Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
· Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement
· Evaluate Department and Vendor Stock Turn Reports to help identify buying needs
· Manage inventory and stock levels to meet customer demands; update monthly Open to Buy plan
· Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods
· Oversee team to check-in merchandise, price merchandise, apply price tags, and prepare for presentation
· Recruit and hire Stylists and work with Assistant Manger to train and supervise staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to company standards
· Schedule employees using scheduling application
· Complete store opening and closing procedures as scheduled; support Stylists on floor as needed
· Positively engage with guests and maintain a high level of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
· Maintain an awareness of customer needs to both increase service levels and reduce security risks; remain current on policies regarding payment and exchanges, customer service, security practices, and other applicable operations
· Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions; maintain pricing and visual standards
· Maintain standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and all other duties as directed by Owner
· Participate in visual directives including monthly store sets and zone maintenance
· Drive the business results by maximizing daily sales plans, controlling expenses and improving statistics through floor leadership, and continuous coaching
· Update and submit monthly sales reports to franchise
· Submit time sheets and sales report to Accountant
· Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the store
· Maintain a visually impressive store, augmenting the company visual standards with embellishments that complement the uniqueness of the product mix
· Utilize mathematical skills to analyze data, create reports, and make informed decisions
· Implement time management strategies to optimize productivity and meet deadlines
· Maintain phone etiquette when communicating with internal and external stakeholders
· Participate in social media activities as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· College degree or 2-year Retail Management/Merchandising degree preferred, but not required
· Retail or sales experience required; boutique experience preferred
· Demonstrated leadership and integrity with experience managing a staff of retail associates required
· Knowledge of market trends and industry best practices
· Strong merchandising and visual skills
· Proactive and creative problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges
· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and stakeholders at all levels
· Excellent customer service skills
· Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively; flexible and adaptable to change
· Excellent administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Point of Sale Systems
· Stand and maneuver around sales floor and stockroom; operate register; lift and carry 30 pounds; hang/fold merchandise; climb, reach, push/pull, and clean
· Regular attendance is essential to this position in order to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives; ability to work a very flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Store hours are presently 11am-7pm Monday - Friday, 10am-6pm Saturday, 12pm-5pm Sunday.
