I am looking for some extra help in my sewing and consignment shop.
Starting hours would be 20 hr/week for the outdoor gear sales position and potentially 20-30 hours if you are interested in sewing.
Pay will vary depending on experience. The starting hourly wage for basic employment is $17/hr
If you are experienced with sewing you could make up to $25/hr depending on skill.

Ideal applicant: someone who is skilled on a sewing machine with tailoring, altering, or repairing clothing. We do work on dresses, jeans, casual wear and lots of other things.
OR
Has experience selling outdoor gear or working in the retail industry and is very friendly around people and customers. I will need someone who is great at taking photos, working on a computer, is versed in social media, and knows how to quickly think on their toes and come up with creative solutions. Someone who can move themselves through a series of task without a ton of guidance.

If you can sew and also like outdoor gear, this would be a great job for you.
If you are a skilled seamstress or tailor, working remotely is an option if you live close to Bellingham and have access to the necessary space and equipment. We can also supply certain items/machines if you are interested in remote work.
