20 - 30 hours per week (flexible)
1. Escorting patients from reception area to treatment room(s)
2. Assisting patients onto the exam chair as needed
3. Assisting patients in removing shoes and socks as needed
4. Gather necessary information from patients:
Existing patients: update current condition, medications, allergies
New patients: record important clinical information from patients (NLDOCAT format)
5. Vital signs on each patient
6. Prepare treatment room before and after each patient
7. Set up for in-office procedures, break down once procedure complete
8. Assist Doctor with minor in-office procedure
9. Clean instruments and prepare for autoclave
10. Answer phone as needed (assistant front desk when necessary)
11. Stocking medical supplies in all treatment rooms
12. Assist in inventory and ordering of medical supplies
13. Pre-fill syringes used for in-office procedures
14. Help position patients for in-office x-ray(s)
15. Become efficient if shoe sizing, fitting and dispensing
