Position Description:

Tompkins and Associates is looking for a part-time Licensed Clinical Therapist (LCPC, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist) to join our well-respected mid-sized private practice in Naperville, Illinois. The primary responsibility of the Child and Adolescent Therapist will be to provide high-quality and evidence-based individual and family therapy to a diverse range of child and adolescent clients, presenting with various clinical concerns. Must be available to see clients during evening and/or weekend hours to accommodate client schedules.

Tompkins and Associates is proud to be partnered with Lurie Children's Hospital Department of Psychiatry in a national research project focusing on randomized therapeutic interventions for childhood anxiety. The Child and Adolescent Therapist will be fully trained in research treatment protocol and will actively participate in all facets of this collaboration.

The successful candidate will be independent in scheduling clients, case management, and will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Strong organization skills are required to maintain time management. The Child and Adolescent Therapist should be comfortable collaborating with other providers in the community including psychiatrists, therapists, pediatricians, and school staff. Weekly group supervision with group clinicians and case consultation are available to all clinicians. Opportunities for networking, didactics, and professional development are provided to interested candidates.

Tompkins and Associates is a growing private practice with experienced Clinical Psychologists who value a supportive and collegial environment. The practice receives referrals from pediatric practices, psychiatrists, and other professionals in the western suburbs of Chicago. Key Responsibilities:

-       Conduct individual and family therapy for children and adolescents with clinical presentations such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, ADHD, mood regulation, and high-functioning autism.

-       Utilize evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, ACT, and play therapy.

-       Collaborate closely with parents, providing family therapy and parent coaching.

-       Clinical Psychologists will have the opportunity to perform psychological assessments as needed for diagnostic clarification and treatment recommendations.

-       Participate in a national research project on therapeutic interventions for childhood anxiety, including full training in the research treatment protocol.

-       Opportunity to work with students on the residential campus of the Illinois Math and Science Academy (IMSA).

Qualifications:

-       LCPC, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist

-       Strong written and verbal communication skills

-       Excellent organization and time management skills

-       Ability to work independently, manage caseload, and schedule clients

-       Comfortable collaborating with other healthcare providers in the community

-       Willingness to engage in professional development and networking opportunities

Compensation:

-       This is a W2 position with competitive hourly compensation based on experience,  licensure, and number of billable hours per month

-       The position is part-time with the option to build to full-time caseload
