Robin's Nest is a boutique and gift shop located in Winthrop, MA, offering a wide variety of fine quality jewelry, gifts, home decor, and more — many of which are made in the USA.

We are growing our business and you will work very closely with the owner to drive sales. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with customers. We are looking for candidates with proven communication, sales, and organization skills, coupled with a strong work ethic.

Job Description:

• Greet customers

• Provide exceptional customer service

• Help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and

  services

• Ability to use suggestive selling techniques and knowledge of inventory to serve

  customers

• A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues.

  Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will

  contribute to the store’s profitability.

• Ensure selling floor is fully stocked and replenished in a timely manner

• Manage returns of merchandise

• Assist with processing of new inventory

• Inform customers about discounts and special offers

• Provide customer feedback to the Store Owner

• Stay up-to-date with new products/services

• Assist Store Owner with Marketing and Social Media

• At closing, ensure store is clean and ready for next day’s opening

• Perform additional duties when required

  Requirements:

• Work experience in Retail Sales, Hospitality, or similar role/industry

• Understanding of the retail sales process

• Familiarity with consumer behavior principles

• Maintain total confidentiality of any and all information regarding the store and its

  customers

• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures

• Technologically proficient

• Basic math skills

• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships

• Ability to perform in fast-paced environment; work independently and proactively

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Required dress code is business casual

• High School Dipoloma

• Focus in Retail, Marketing, or related field is a plus.

  Hourly Rate flexible based on experience
