Position Overview:

As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of experienced accountants and assisting with a variety of accounting tasks. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, has a strong foundation in accounting principles, and is ready to grow within a dynamic CPA firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and tax returns for clients.
• Perform data entry and record financial transactions accurately.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and ledgers.
• Assist in the preparation of payroll and sales tax returns.
• Provide support for audits and tax planning.
• Assist in the maintenance of financial records and client files.
• Collaborate with senior accountants and management to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or in progress).
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish is a MUST.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
