We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Master Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a high level of expertise in plumbing techniques, problem-solving, and compliance with plumbing codes and regulations.
Responsibilities:
+ Installation and Repairs: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances, including pipes, valves, fittings, faucets, sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
+ Diagnosis: Identify and troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine the best course of action for repair or replacement.
+ Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
+ Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan plumbing system installations and repairs.
+ Material Management: Select and procure appropriate materials, tools, and equipment for plumbing projects while managing inventory efficiently.
+ Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other construction professionals, including contractors, electricians, and HVAC technicians, to ensure smooth project coordination.
+ Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients, providing estimates, explaining repairs, and addressing their concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
+ Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of plumbing installations and repairs, striving for excellence in craftsmanship.
+ Emergency Response: Be available for emergency plumbing services and respond promptly to urgent service calls, including nights and weekends, as needed.
+ Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including invoices, work orders, and inspection reports.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program.
+ Journeyman or Master Plumber license (as required by state regulations).
+ Proven experience as a journeyman or master plumber, typically 4-7 years.
+ Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
+ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
+ Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
+ Strong communication and customer service skills.
+ Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
+ Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
