Warehouse Manager/Deliveries
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Are you looking for a part-time job offering flexible hours?
Do you like driving, being organized, and helping our staff with packing/light moving duties?
We are seeking an organized, friendly, energetic person to provide key logistical support to our Move Managers and Staging Manager throughout the SF Bay Area. Our warehouse is located in Santa Clara.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver and pick up packing/moving supplies using company vehicle.
- Load household items for donation and deliver to various charities
- Load/unload smaller furniture and décor, and assist with placement
- Organize and maintain packing/moving supplies and staging furniture at warehouse in Santa Clara, CA
- Assist our clients and staff with packing/unpacking
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a 14’ panel van (box truck) with lift gate
- Lift 50+ pounds and be able to climb stairs
- Experience doing light handy-person work
- Pass background check
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and attention to detail
- Use email, phone, text messaging, and GPS/mapping apps
- Work independently and with teams
HOURS and OTHER KEY ELEMENTS OF THE JOB:
- The schedule is part-time and can vary every week.
- Ideally you will be available Monday-Friday from 9 - 5. Shifts can be from 2 to 6 hours
- The schedule varies week to week, hours are dependent on project/client load, which changes from week to week.
- Medical benefits are not provided
