DESCRIPTION:

We are a Horse Show Facility, only open during horse show hours.   We are open MOST of the weekends throughout the year.  Some shows can be 5 days some can be 3 days.  It is not a consistent number.

We are looking for a leader who enjoys overseeing and participating in high-quality food while they develop and train teammates! This is a unique opportunity to be part of a tight-knit team atmosphere that is creative, and fast-paced at times.   We do cater to some of the shows, who host a buffet dinner and the Eugene Pro Rodeo meetings.  If you enjoy having freedom to create your own menu ideas and specialty dishes, you will enjoy this position.

As a Kitchen Production Manager, some of your responsibilities will include but not limited to:


Required Qualifications or ability to obtain permits:
 *Available most weekends
 *Reliable transportation
 *Oregon Food Handlers Card
 *OLCC Permit
 *Knowledge of kitchen equipment
 *Food knowledge, and culinary etiquette
 *Available to work over the 4th of July Weekend (and a month or two before)

•    Inventory/Ordering/shopping and maintaining inventory of fresh, frozen, and sundry products.
•    Collaborating on menu development
•    Regulating cleaning and maintaining sanitary practices
•    Tracking waste and budgeting food cost
•    Supervising and working alongside kitchen staff
•    Effectively communicating with team members and management
•    Executing food orders and food quality
•    Operate with consistent and prompt ticket times.
•    Have a current Food Handler's Card (or be willing to obtain one prior to employment)
•    Train new teammates
•    Work with Operations Manager to develop processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
•    Maintain positive relations with customers, vendors, and employees.
•    Maintain Health and Safety sanitation requirements.
•    Have a current Food Handler's Card (or be willing to obtain one prior to employment)
•    Keeping a clean and safe work environment.  Sweeping, mopping, cleaning, dishes.  Delegating duties to front of house.
