Vehicle Service Technician

BFS Fleet Service is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Vehicle Service Technician to join our team. As a technician at BFS Fleet Service, you will be responsible for servicing all makes and models of vehicles, both gas and diesel.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair work on diverse types of vehicles, including gas and diesel engines.

• Demonstrate attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.

• Exhibit the ability to think ahead and anticipate potential issues or required repairs.

• Possess technical proficiency and familiarity with web, internet, and technology tools.

•Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and address vehicle issues accurately and efficiently.

•Diagnose and repair various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a range of vehicles.

•Conduct routine maintenance procedures, such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid checks.

• Diagnose and fix vehicle issues accurately and efficiently, with minimal supervision.

•Collaborate with the service team and communicate effectively to explain repair recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Experience in vehicle repair and service.

• Valid driver's license.

• NYS Inspection license (Required).

• Clean driver's license.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Experience level: 3 years

Schedule:8-hour shift Monday to Friday Experience: Automotive Repair: 7 years (Preferred)

License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)

NYSI Inspector License (Required)
