Peace Mobility is growing and actively seeking additional GREAT DRIVERS to take care of our Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan clientele. The ideal candidates will have a clean driving record, able to pass a physical, a good work ethic, can manage his/her day without constant supervision, good communication skills, neat in appearance, and respectful. This position is full time however the hours can vary somewhat during each day. This job would start immediately with paid classroom training followed by on the road training.

As a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) driver, you will play a crucial role in providing safe and comfortable transportation services to elderly, disabled, or medically fragile individuals who require assistance getting to and from medical appointments, therapies, or other essential destinations.

 

Peace Mobility, Inc (a non-emergency medical transportation business) is a family own company. Incorporate in Minnesota; located in Hopkins - MN and serves the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. We provide transportation services to people that need assistance in getting to and from medical appointments. Our services are useful in a variety of ways, and patients in need of extra help and those utilizing a wheelchair, among others, can take advantage of Peace Mobility’s services. The same also goes for other patients who may be facing issues in getting to their procedures due to the lack of professional or specialized transportation options in their area. Our services are not limited to medically vulnerable individuals; those who are unable to operate a vehicle or use public transportation, such as post-surgical patients, greatly benefit from Peace Mobility services.

Qualifications

§  Minimum 3 years of driving experience

§  Minimum 25-years of age

§  Possess a valid US driver's license and clean driving record.

§  Pass a criminal background check, a DOT 5 panel drug test, and a medical fitness-for-duty clearance.

§  Possess a CPR/First/AED certification or willing to obtain one.

§  Genuine curiosity about people and business and a passion for helping older adults.

§  Safe driving record (Must have no DUI, license suspension/revocation/cancellation in the last 3 years.)

§  Exceptional customer service skills

§  Ability to work well under little to no supervision.

 

Responsibilities

§  The NEMT driver will accompany wheelchair-bound clients as well as ambulatory clients to medical appointments (kidney dialysis, routine doctor visits, pharmacy or lab stops ...) and social activities for senior living communities (grocery shopping, sports events, fishing ...)

§  Drive safely in various weather conditions.

§  Provide excellent customer service to members of our community.

§  Assist Clients to and from medical appointments across the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area.

§  Complete and maintain driver logs and reports.
