Position Summary - Pizza/Fry Cook

We are looking for an experienced cook offering the versatility of working 2 cook positions.
A pizza cook position who is responsible for making consistently delicious beautifully crafted pizzas from our menu.
Also, be a grill cook. We have a very large menu including wraps, burgers, sandwiches, homemade pasta sauces, and fried appetizers.

Are you looking for a fast paced, fun restaurant to show off your cooking talents? Busy, family restaurant is in need of an experienced, fast paced, reliable individual who is good under pressure.

At least 1 year of kitchen experience is necessary, including both food prep and cooking. Mostly nights available but potentially days as well. Must be able to work at least 3 days a week.

Schedule: Must be able to work 3 days a week; Saturday Nights are a MUST!

Cook experience requirements:
While little to no experience is required for a basic cook position, the more experience a candidate has, the more skills and talents they will offer. Many cooks become proficient in their trade through experience, beginning in food preparation or as a kitchen helper to learn the basics of cooking, then advancing to become an assistant cook or line cook and eventually becoming a full cook. Others learn through apprenticeships with experienced cooks.

-Basic knife skills
-Food prep including basic chopping and slices of veggies
-Making pizza dough 
-Keeping kitchen clean & orderly
-Follow food health and safety guidelines
-Cook, clean, and help other cooks
-Deliver quality consistent food in a fast-paced environment
-Make adjustments based on customer requests
-Producing meals and cleaning their workspace throughout the day
-Cooks follow recipes consistently
-Communicate with wait staff
- Grill experience burgers, pasta sauces and more advanced food prep is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $17 to $18/hour, depending on experience
