Seeking full time Gardener for small, women-owned gardening company in Portland. 

Smiling Gardens provides garden design, revitalization, planting, pruning, ongoing maintenance and more. We work with plants and soil with an ecological mindset. We do fine gardening, no mowing lawns. We are a close-knit group looking to add a positive, adaptable, and reliable person to our team.

Position runs through December, with potential for long-term employment for the right candidate. Experience/interest in gardening, horticulture or plant identification is preferred. 

Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be willing to work outside in all weather conditions. Excellent communication skills are essential. Drivers license, good driving record and reliable car required to drive to and from residential job sites in the Portland metro area.

Starting wage is $18-20/hour. Paid time off and paid holidays available after introductory period. Mileage compensation provided.
