Pharmacy Claims Biller / Adjudicator

Our client, an independent pharmacy company providing pharmacy services to patients in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, is seeking an experienced team player for the position of Pharmacy Claims Adjudicator in their Chicago area pharmacy branch.  This is a full-time in-office position (not remote).  

The Adjudicator will be responsible for resolving 3rd party claims by contacting insurance companies, physicians and facilities. This candidate will work the prior authorization queues. Must be detail oriented and a great problem solver with exceptional customer service skills.  

Requirements:

• At least two years of pharmacy adjudication experience.
• At least two years of experience dealing with 3rd party insurance and Medicare and Medicaid.
• Experience in a long term care pharmacy setting preferred.
• Excellent computer skills as well as strong written and verbal communication.
• Great problem solving and attention to detail.
• Solid customer service skills and the ability to work within a cohesive team is a must.
