We are seeking a Part Time Hospice Weekend On Call LPN Or RN to join our team!  $250 guaranteed on call rate per weekend plus hourly wage for time worked.

Responsibilities:

• On Call nurse will triage, assess, and make as needed visits to Hospice patients that call in with after hour needs
• Administer nursing care to chronically and terminally ill patients
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians regarding patient care
• Educate patients 
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
• Demonstrate ability to take direction and respond to the needs of the patient and/or their families in various settings

Qualifications:

• Idaho LPN or RN license required
• Licensed and Insured Driver required
• Must have a reliable vehicle and a cell phone
• Criminal history clearance required
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
