Synthesis ABA is looking for Behavior Technicians to join our team and provide direct treatment for clients in Kalamazoo, Calhoun, and Van Buren Counties. As a Behavior technician, you will work directly with clients, delivering individualized, high quality ABA interventions under the supervision of a Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who develops each client's treatment plan being implemented. As a member of the Synthesis ABA team, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment and engage in a wide range of activities, focused on providing ABA based assessment and treatment services in our clinical center, at client homes, and/or in community settings. Synthesis ABA Behavior Technician Job Description: Deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 or small group format Accurately implement skill acquisition programs and implement individual treatments plans (IPOS) Accurately implement behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans Maintain precise and meticulous client progress records, which may include but are not limited to data sheets, graphs, daily notes, anecdotal information, etc. Maintain a safe, clean, stimulating, and fun environment for the client Collaborate with clients family members and related professionals as needed regarding client updates, progress, behavioral concerns, etc. Uphold company policies and code of conduct; implement ABA intervention in line with BACB ethical guidelines Promptly report all incidents of abuse/neglect and train others to recognize signs of abuse, neglect, and exploitation Provide high quality customer service to clients and their families Participate in initial and ongoing staff training as offered, as well as commit to continued learning and performance improvement Completed required staff training and credentialing requirements prior to deadline/expiration in order to continue to be within compliance standards Job Requirements and Qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelors Degree in psychology or related field is preferred Must possess work authorization Must pass all required background checks Must have the ability to lift at least 25 pounds Must also have the ability to engage in rigorous activity including, but not limited to; going up and down stairs, walking at a fast pace, and transitioning from floor-based activities to table-based activities quickly Must possess reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and be willing to travel between assignments Should enjoy working on an interdisciplinary team and collaborating with others Detail oriented with strong organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience working with children, teens, and young adults with autism is preferred At least 1 year experience with ABA preferred Job Type: Part-time Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Paid time off Professional development assistance Schedule: After school Evening shift Monday to Friday Self-determined schedule Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay Application Question(s): Are you available to work after-school/evening and weekends?
