Mathnasium in Fairfax has immediate openings for math instructors / teachers to work with students in grades 1-11. You will work at our Fairfax location and students will be assigned to you based on your math level. Curriculum and materials are pre-determined for each student, and instructor will apply the teaching methods presented during training.

It is a great part time job for a school teacher and or undergraduate or graduate students to work 2 -5 days per week.

Required Qualifications:

Good math skills

Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills

Ability to professionally interact with students and parents

Energetic and confident personality

Ability to teach students in upper level high school math courses

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience or other experience working with students

Hours may vary, but could include mid-afternoon through early evening hours, Monday --Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, approximately 10-20 hours per week (flexible).

Compensation is $15-20 per hour. (negotiable for right candidate)
