NINJA – NO I’M NOT JUST AN ASSISTANT!

Some may call this position a chairside DENTAL ASSISTANT, yet that doesn’t speak to the many sides of this team member’s roles and responsibilities. This position, we lovingly refer to as the NINJA which is an acronym for “No, I’m Not Just an Assistant!”

One of our besties is looking to retire, so this new, full-time opportunity is available to invite someone special to join our awesome team. We are knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about coaching our patients toward improving their life through an understanding of the Oral Systemic Connection and Complete Health Dentistry.

At times, it can be a high paced position and always requires focus on details. We seek the professional, qualified, and overall exceptional team member who is interested in developing relationships with patients and willing to go a little extra to ensure that needs are met.

Everyone loves a sunny disposition, especially at a dental office where new patients can come in with fears…It’s great to know we have amenities to offer comfort, and often the greatest comfort comes from bringing your own sunny smile in a warm and genuine greeting!

You’ll find yourself involved with sterilization and flow of instruments and proper room reset to welcome guests. You will use stringent CDC guidelines to maintain hospitality and cleanliness. You’ll be integral in helping patients receive treatment on time with an ability to update a patient’s health history, take a photographic series, digital radiographic series, Pano, or CBCT. Or maybe it’s a traditional impression needed for various purposes, creating a custom retainer, or taking a shade for an interest in whitening. Or maybe it’s taking a digital scan for various purposes. When not proficient with all of the above, willingness and ability to learn is key!

We are a paperless office using DENTRIX for our notes and recordkeeping, though we still have a paper system for organizing inventory and lab cases. This candidate requires current Radiology Certification, Hepatitis B Vaccination, Technical skills, and Dental Terminology awareness.
