OVERVIEW:

Two Muse Studios is a full service design firm specializing in high-end residential and boutique commercial projects. We are looking to hire an Interior Design / Social Media Intern to join our team. This position will assist the design team, while gaining hands on experience through all phases of the design process. This position will also create content and manage various social media platforms for the studio. 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Actively pursing an Associates or Bachelors Degree in Interior Design or similar field.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Knowledge of 3D rendering programs and Photoshop is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Studio Designer is a plus. 
  • Experience with Instagram, TikTok, and Squarespace.
  • Overall understanding of Interior Design.
  • General knowledge of current furniture design, materials, and finishes.
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to create branded content with consistent visual storytelling.
  • Active pursuit of mentorship and development 
  • Excited and proactive about learning.
  • Ability to physically work on tasks, such as installation days, which includes moving items, cleaning, packing, etc.
  • Reliable vehicle, valid drivers license, and insurance.
  • Willingness to drive frequently around the Los Angeles area to vendors and projects. 
  • Must be local to Los Angeles and able and willing to work in-person at our office.
     

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist design team on projects.
  • Engage in vendor research and coordination.
  • Gather samples, quotes, and lead-times.
  • Track orders.
  • Assist with drawings and design presentations.
  • Create and present social media strategies and content ideas,
  • Create and manage content for social media.
  • Update website and company portfolio.
  • Receive and inspect deliveries and manage returns.
  • Organize and keep office and sample library up to date.
  • Organize and keep client sample bins and binders up to date.
  • Undertake errands and showrooms pick ups as required.
  • Assist with administrative tasks to contribute to project progress. 

 

POSITION: Part-time. 

We are flexible on the days of work, however once we solidify the schedule, it would be consistent on a weekly basis. 

OFFICE HOURS: Monday-Friday, 10am - 6pm
