Analytical Chemist
<p>With the recent launch of a new analytical instrumentation product line, we are seeking a chemist with a degree in analytical chemistry, preferably with a focus on chromatography, to provide product support and directly communicate with customers. This mid-level position comes with merit-based training to prepare for an expanded role, progressing at the candidate’s own pace.</p><p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p><p>– Assisting customers with their problems and/or guiding them in their tasks.<br />– Engaging with customers and soliciting their feedback.<br />– Implementing or modifying, as necessary, existing and published methods.<br />– Testing implementations and creating guides for customers.<br />– Working with a group of scientists and engineers to develop procedures for particular applications.<br />– Conducting scientific literature searches to find existing technology applicable to the project.<br />– Presenting seminars and demonstrations.<br />– Coordinating demonstrations of the equipment.</p><p>Job Requirements:</p><p>We are looking for driven individuals who can be trained in our company’s exclusive technology, learn our innovative product, and later communicate and coach our customers. A solid understanding of general analytical chemistry is required. Hands-on experience in analytical instrumentation is a plus, as are mechanically inclined skills. The ideal candidate should understand general analytical and some organic chemistry, be a quick learner, have good communication skills, and be self-driven. Recent graduates are welcome.</p><p>Our ideal candidate is someone willing to work hard to learn our products and technology, and grow with experience and skills.</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>BS or higher degree in chemistry/biochemistry.<br />Ability to work with clients.<br />Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.<br />Multitasking capability.<br />Proactive thinker and solution-oriented.</p><p>Compensation:</p><p>Salary is based on qualifications and prior experience.
