Position Summary and Overview

As Fulfillment Coordinator you will be responsible for regular tasting room and ecommerce shipments. Your main duties will be to ensure accurate, timely, and secure shipping processes and to manage shipping material inventory levels for maximum efficiency. This is a hands-on position.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, enjoys solving problems, and possesses an ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in the short and long term. A desire to provide top customer service both internally and externally, in the form of on time and accurate shipments and good communications is required.

Role and Responsibilities

·        Responsible for pulling, packing and shipping DTC orders, will call pickups, and other winery shipping with a low error rate and attention to detail in a secure, accurate, and timely manner.

·        Organize the shipping floor and various retail inventory locations.

·        Receive and process incoming deliveries/returns.

·        Order and monitor inventory of retail merchandise and shipping supplies to ensure levels are maintained within a designated range.

·        Work with the safety manager to ensure a safe working environment at all times.

·        Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and surrounding areas.

·        Perform monthly/quarterly inventory counts and reconciliation as assigned.

·        Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

·        High School Diploma or equivalent required.

·        Knowledge of logistics operations and shipping procedures and documents.

·        Hands on experience with basic word processing and email.

·        Valid Driver’s License required.

·        Forklift certification or ability to be certified required.

·        Demonstrated ability to communicate important information clearly and professionally.

·        Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.

·        Ability to deal well with diverse cultures, personalities, and professional levels.

·        History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.

·        Typical schedule for this position is Monday through Wednesday, with occasional varying schedules to accommodate seasonal demand.

·        Must be able to work part-time hours (10-20 hours per week).

·        Physical Requirement: Able and willing to work on-premise in a warehouse environment (standing, lifting, as well as desk work).

·        Physical Requirement: Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

·        Physical Requirement: Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
