Job Description:

We are currently seeking a versatile and skilled Handyman to join our team. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of repair, maintenance, and general handyman tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and properties. Your ability to troubleshoot and resolve various issues efficiently will be essential to maintaining a safe and functional environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, minor carpentry, and plumbing repairs.
• Perform electrical repairs and installations, including changing light fixtures and outlets.
• Handle minor HVAC repairs, such as changing filters and addressing ventilation issues.
• Respond promptly to work orders and requests for repairs from tenants or property management.
• Install and repair locks, handles, and other hardware as needed.
• Install frameworks, cabinetry, doors, windows, Trim and other wooden components.
• Repair or replace drywall as needed
• Maintain a well-organized inventory of tools and materials necessary for repairs.
• Communicate effectively with property managers, tenants, and other team members.
• Maintain accurate records of performed repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Offer advice and guidance to property managers on potential improvements or upgrades.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of various repair and maintenance techniques.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools common to maintenance work.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Time management skills to efficiently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Physical dexterity and stamina to perform manual labor and work in different environments.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Any relevant certifications in maintenance or construction are a plus.
