Metropolitan Bakery, a Philadelphia premier artisan bakery, located in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia, has a full time opportunity for an individual who is computer literate and has strong experience in sales, customer service and data entry. Individual must be able to exercise accurate order entry, possess the ability to be detailed oriented and have strong communication, time management and interpersonal skills.

Duties would include developing and maintaining business relationships with wholesale and retail clients, taking and entering bakery orders, compiling daily and weekly reports, coordinating shipping, setting up new customer accounts, doing internet research and completing office duties. Accuracy and attention to detail is required. Excellence in Microsoft Excel is required as is experience in Microsoft Office and Outlook. Familiarity with professional web platforms like Shopify or Square is required. Applicants must be able to lift 20 pounds. Experience with UPS, Fed Ex, and USPS shipping platforms is helpful.

Schedule is Monday thru Friday 9:00am to 5:00 pm..
