Dietitian
Looking for a registered dietitian in Eau Claire or Chippewa Falls, WI to provide in-person and virtual services with clients. As the RD in this role, you will see clients on a weekly or biweekly basis to assist them in reaching their health goals.
Responsibilities
Receive referrals for participants in a mental health program with varying health needs/goals including mental health, gut health, diabetes, weight loss, cholesterol, cooking skills, adrenal dysfunction, IBS, IBD, and more
Meet with clients weekly or biweekly in their home or other location in the community (client choice) to provide nutrition education, coaching, cooking skills, etc. to help to work towards their health goals
Create educational/supplemental materials for clients if needed and print out to provide during sessions (printer required)
Write progress notes after each visit summarizing the educational topics covered, progress the client made towards goals, etc.
Attend monthly team meetings for each client (typically virtual) to share updates on what you’ve been working on with the client and to highlight the progress they’ve made
Create a client-centered plan for each client, ability to “see the big picture” and identify topics you plan to cover at each session to help them reach their goals
Requirements
Registered Dietitian or functional medicine nutritionist
Knowledge/experience with the role of gut health on physical and mental health, ideally with a holistic and integrative approach to helping clients get to the root cause of their health issues
Excellent writing skills
Highly self-motivated
Located in or near Eau Claire/Chippewa Falls, WI
Reliable vehicle
Hours
Hours vary and are flexible (based on times that work for both you and the client)
Starting at around 10 hours per week with potential for 30+ hours per week
Must be able to work until 5 pm 1-2 days per week to see youth clients after school
Pay
$32-$45/hour depending on experience, credentials, qualifications, etc.
