These positions are from September 1, 2023 to February 28, 2024 with opportunity for full-time work thereafter for the best candidates. As a Johannessen Lights Christmas Lights employee, “Elf”, you will be professionally installing and removing holiday lights and décor at residential and commercial locations. We are looking for the following in all applicants:

Dedicated, passionate, and proud people who preferably have experience installing holiday lights and décor outside.

Must show up every day up to six (6) days a week and be prepared to work 12 hours per day during peak season including some weekend work.

Must have reliable transportation to our Winter Park office location.

Overtime pay available as earned, and bonus for proven performance will be paid.

Must be a hard worker who is motivated to learn and takes pride in his or her work.

Must be able to communicate well with clients and other light installers; must be a team player.

Must be able to successfully pass a background check (having something on your record won’t automatically disqualify you; decision made on a case-by-case basis).

Veterans, police officers and fire fighters are encouraged to apply, if looking for extra work on days off.
