This opportunity starts off as a contract that transitions to full-time permanent.

Position Information:

Location: Local sales territories in Portland, Oregon.
Schedule: Opportunity for flexible work schedule available.
Compensation: $52,000.

Our client is a multinational technology company providing cutting edge networking, cloud, security, and telecom solutions to power next-gen applications. They are expanding rapidly and are targeting 12 million new locations for fibre optic connectivity in the coming years.

They are passionate about meeting customer needs and value the drive and work ethic in their team. They are looking for driven and motivated sales professionals who share these values to support their expansion. As a key member of the sales team, the candidate will be responsible for Business to Business and Business to Consumer outside sales duties and managing leads within local sales territories.

Candidates must work well in a fast-paced goal driven environment. They must be passionate about understanding and supporting the customer’s needs and be able to work well independently. Responsibilities:

Conducting daily leads-based outside sales calls to small business and consumer clients.
Participate in daily virtual sales meetings with Management team and colleagues to improve sales process.
Learn the telecom technologies industry and speak with ease and comfort related to products and services offered by our client.
Build genuine relations with customer base to listen and understand their needs in the telecom industry.
Maintaining a customer first attitude and impart positive experience on all customers, even those that do not result in a sale.
Maintain and share weekly mileage / expense reports with management team.

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in business or marketing field).
1+ years of successful sales experience highly preferred. However, if you are an eager and motivated individual looking to enter the sales profession, we still encourage you to apply!
Ability to self-manage and work independently.
Proven ability in setting and meeting goals and deadlines.
Expert written and verbal communication skills.
Positive, solutions driven mindset.
Must maintain a valid and current driver’s license and appropriate insurance for reliable transportation.

After Conversion:

$52,000 salary + commission = OTE of $100,000.
