In this position you will mostly be assisting our school portrait photographers out on location at preschools and elementary schools, but you will also get to actually do some of the photography. This is a perfect job for someone who has some photography experience and would like to start doing more.

Must love children! You also need to be able to drive – with a reliable vehicle - to school locations around the Eastside and in Seattle, arriving usually between 7:00 to 8:00 AM and work until around noon on weekdays.

Your responsibilities would be to help carry in equipment and get setup, be the "expeditor" to keep the flow going, talk with the children, help with getting kids on and off the set, and do whatever else the photographer needs. We also want you to be able to step in and photograph, acting as a backup photographer… with the goal of being able to setup and photograph a small school on your own.

This position has varied scheduling of one to five weekdays a week throughout September into November - mainly in the mornings. You will be given the schedule well in advance... we already have the dates setup with the schools. Pay will be discussed during the interview process.
