Are you passionate about sharing the joy of music and helping students discover their musical talents? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Assistant Piano Teacher to join our team!
Position: Assistant Piano Teacher
Level: Beginning to Intermediate (High school students with experience are welcome to apply!)
Location: East Brainerd, Chattanooga
Hours: Afternoons, part-time schedule
Responsibilities: (all with guidance from Kristy)
*Instruct and inspire students in the art of playing the piano, focusing on beginning to intermediate levels.
*Cater to individual learning styles and abilities.
*Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters a love for music.
*Help students build a strong foundation in music theory, technique, and performance skills.
*Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them progress and achieve their goals.
Qualifications:
*Proficiency in playing and teaching piano at beginning to intermediate levels.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to type notes and work within apps during lessons.
*Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students of different ages and backgrounds.
*Prior teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
*High school students with relevant piano experience are encouraged to apply.
