Warehouse Fulfillment Associate
Abadak, Inc. is seeking a full-time Warehouse Fulfillment Associate.
Responsibilities:
· Evaluate and identify products ordered, accurately and efficiently pick products from warehouse shelves, pack products in appropriate packaging, and ship products to correct recipient in a timely manner
· Repeatedly lift packages up to 51 lbs.
· Verify order contents are complete and accurate
· Accurately type order details into freight software to generate shipping labels
· Consistently meet daily efficiency and accuracy expectations
· Safely and efficiently operate Powered Industrial Trucks, including forklifts and order pickers as needed
· Participate in receiving inbound shipments and perform stocking duties
· Maintain proper inventory controls and perform inventory cycle counts
· Perform proper housekeeping and janitorial duties
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment while complying with OSHA law and regulations
· Lead or assist with a wide variety of special projects or tasks at the company’s request
Requirements:
· Must have high school diploma or equivalent
· Must provide current resume, salary history, and references
· Must be able to work full-time Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with 30 minute lunch
· Must be able to pass a background check (all offers will be contingent on successful background check)
· Must live within 25 minutes of Weir, TX (business located just outside of Georgetown, TX)
· Must be capable of lifting 51 lbs. repeatedly and must comply with team lifting policies and techniques
· Must have moderate typing and computer skills
· Must be proficient with Internet navigation and email
· Must have excellent punctuality (show up to work regularly on time and work on a regular schedule)
· Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Must have high energy and a sense of urgency
· Must be flexible with daily duties which are dependent on business needs
· Must be able to pass internal licensing process for operating powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and order pickers. We help our employees become certified.
