Warehouse Assistant

We are hiring for our operations team to start immediately. Training will be provided daily, we will allow a 3 month grace period for the candidate to adjust and show his/her expertise. Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for:
-Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise;
-Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area; Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards;
-Maintain inventory control by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. Also assist in counting of physical inventory;
-Prepare parcels for mailing;
-Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat;
-Must drive/operate a forklift;
What you'll need to have:
-Must have two (2) years experience in the freight logistics.
-Successful communication - written and verbal.
-Establish priorities and multi-task.
-Possess professional business demeanor.
-Fluent English.
-High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
-Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills.
-Dependable and Reliable.
-Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required.
-Physical demands and abilities. Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
-Must have basic computer skills to enter data into the software.
-Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred.
-Must be authorized to work in the US.
-Must be able to carry at least 50 lbs.

Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
