Must be able to work projects with hands-on, independently, and efficiently using your restoration-remodeling industry experience, and give daily updates to managers and homeowners using phone, text, and email. Professional appearance and good communicator to manager and homeowners. Must have your own truck + tools and be prepared and on-time for each day. Organized and efficient are mandatory for success. Person should be able to work through any challenges at the job site with a good attitude.
This work requires person to be proficient in plumbing and drywall/texture/paint/stain. Carpentry skills needed to set cabinets and complete cabinet repairs. Other trades and handyman skill sets are helpful. Maintain clean work area daily. Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment. Practices safe and secure material handling methods, and always protect homeowner's property and personal items.
Our focus is on restoration put-back, and kitchen and bathroom remodeling. This position is NOT 24/7 on call, and you will not do dryouts or mold/asbestos/lead abatement. We work normal work days and eight hour shifts, and have weekends off.
Applicant needs Clean Driving Record and Background Checks, and provide references with contact numbers.
· High school diploma/GED
· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
· Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
· Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
· Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
· Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
Benefits: company health plan available and paid holidays after 90 day probation, after 1 year hurdle benefit get two extra PTO paid days off, uniform shirts provided, $30 monthly cell phone reimbursement after 90 day probation, .55/mile mileage reimbursements for mileage after arriving to first job location and before leaving at end of the day.
