Salon Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Salon Coordinator to join our team at The Polish Nail Lounge. As a Salon Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the salon, coordinating appointments, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our clients. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will contribute to the overall success and efficiency of our salon.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive salon experience from the moment they walk in.
Manage the salon's appointment book, scheduling client services, and coordinating appointments to optimize the utilization of salon resources and ensure smooth transitions between services.
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about salon services, pricing, and availability.
Assist clients in selecting appropriate services and products based on their preferences and needs.
Maintain client records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of personal information.
Coordinate with salon technicians and stylists to ensure efficient service flow and timely completion of appointments.
Monitor and manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients.
Process client payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
Assist with retail product sales, including product recommendations, inventory management, and restocking.
Communicate with clients to provide appointment reminders, follow-up calls, and customer satisfaction feedback.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Salon Coordinator, Receptionist, or in a similar customer service role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a busy salon schedule and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with salon management software or appointment scheduling systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling client records, financial transactions, and appointment scheduling.
Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing client expectations and resolving conflicts or complaints.
Knowledge of salon services, treatments, and products to assist clients with inquiries and product recommendations.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the salon's operational hours.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a professional and welcoming salon atmosphere.
