Mental Health Therapist
Position
Full-time OR Part-time Licensed Outpatient Independent Contractor

Pre-Licensed MA, LPC, LGSW, or LPCC or recent Masters Degree completion.
Position Description
We have openings for this job in our Golden Valley office for in office and telehealth.
We are seeking a fully Licensed Therapist or Pre-licensed LPC, LPCC, LGSW or recent Masters Degree completion. This position would involve conducting diagnostic intakes and providing outpatient therapy, developing comprehensive treatment plans, coordinating client care with other providers, keeping all required documentation and maintaining an overall caseload of part-time or full-time scheduled clients, 2 to 5 days per week. We offer an extremely competitive fee split which includes EHR, billing, clinic marketing and advertising, MN care tax, the ability to set your own schedule, shared furnished office, and most overhead expenses, as well as monthly group consult. We are in network with all major insurance companies. Flexibility and evening hours are required.
Pre-Licensed staff would be supervised by a BBHT Board Approved Supervisor and supervision is included in the contractor fee split.

Required Qualifications
• Licensure of LPCC, LICSW, LP or LMFT or Pre-licensed LGSW, LPC, LPCC or recent Masters Degree completion.
• Previous outpatient therapy experience is strongly desired.
• Ability to work with trauma.
• Ability to work with couples preferred.
Desired Qualifications
• Interest in providing a holistic approach to mental health.
• Interest in utilizing clinical intuition.
• Knowledge of mental health diagnosis and treatment interventions.
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in written and verbal form.
• Ability to take initiative to engage and problem solve.
• Confident, self-aware, and intuitive.
• Human-centered instinct to address interpersonal and intrapersonal issues as they arise.
• Strongly preferred specialty trauma certification and/or training such as EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, ART, Brainspotting, etc. but not required.
