We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Real Estate Assistant to join our brokerage as a Listing Prospecting Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting outbound calls to homeowners with expired listings, canceled listings, withdrawn listings, and For Sale By Owner (FSBO) properties currently on the market. Your primary objective will be to identify potential opportunities for relisting properties with our real estate brokerage. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our listings inventory and play a key role in the growth and success of our real estate business. A real estate license is required for this position. If you are qualified and do not have a real estate license, Pier 21 Realty, LLC will pay for your 63 hour Pre License Course to obtain your real estate license. You will be responsible for your state application, fingerprints/background check and your state testing fee.
Responsibilities:
1. Listing Prospecting:
- Conduct daily outbound calls to homeowners with expired listings to discuss their previous listing experience and explore the possibility of relisting their property.
- Reach out to homeowners with canceled or withdrawn listings to understand their reasons for delisting and provide information about our services.
- Contact FSBO property owners currently on the market to discuss the benefits of working with our real estate team.
2. Relationship Building:
- Engage in persuasive and professional conversations with potential sellers to build rapport and establish trust.
- Actively listen to homeowners' concerns and motivations, addressing any questions or objections they may have.
3. Appointment Setting:
- Skillfully handle objections and obstacles to schedule appointments with interested homeowners.
- Coordinate appointment details and provide necessary information to the Broker-Owner for follow-up.
4. Follow-up and Nurturing:
- Maintain a systematic follow-up process with leads that are not ready to list immediately.
- Implement a nurturing strategy, such as email campaigns or periodic check-ins, to stay top-of-mind with potential clients.
5. Data Management:
- Record detailed and accurate notes from each call, ensuring all relevant information is logged into the CRM system.
- Regularly update the CRM with status changes and new information on leads.
6. Market Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with the local real estate market, recent sales, and current trends to provide valuable insights during conversations with homeowners.
7. Collaborative Support:
- Assist the Broker-Owner in preparing listing presentation materials and market analysis reports for appointments.
- Collaborate with the Broker-Owner to strategize and optimize prospecting efforts.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or sales is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport over the phone.
- Persistent and resilient with a positive attitude, especially when handling rejection or objections.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage leads, follow-ups, and appointments effectively.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with the real estate team.
- Familiarity with CRM software or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
- Flexibility to work during peak calling hours and adapt to changes in schedules.
