Sweft Inc is a growing start-up company that caters to schools and provides reliable and safe transportation for students. We’re focused on helping students with special Eds attend their classes and access educational resources with confidence. We provide a safe, friendly driver to these students daily. As a team, we’re focused on work/life balance, and we offer part-time positions. By part-time, we don’t mean 4 hours of continuous work on-site. At Sweft, you’ll earn a typical 4-hour salary for about 1 to 2 hours of work each day.
We’re contracting new partners (drivers) transporting these students to school and back home,
The qualifications:
SAFE DRIVER: You have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. You’re careful and considerate of anyone who rides in your vehicle.
21 YEARS OLD OR OLDER
RELIABLE PERSON: You’ll show up on time every day to pick up students on your route so they can get to class on time. Additionally, you’ll show up on time to pick them up from school and get them home safely.
*RELATIONSHIP BUILDER: You’ll be interacting with the same student(s) daily. These students have special needs, so a big part of this role is building trust and confidence between you and your assigned students.
POSITIVE ATTITUDE: compassionate and patient demeanor as you will be working with students who may have unique needs or challenges. Maintain a safe and welcoming environment inside the vehicle.
CLEAN RECORD AND GOOD HEALTH: You’ll pass the background check with flying colors, along with a drug and TB test.
Requirements:
Must have a Driver’s License
Must live in SAN RAFEL or within 5 miles.
Must have a vehicle in good condition as you will be driving your own vehicle in picking and dropping off students. (Note: Only vehicles manufactured in 2013 or up can be approved,)
Must be available for Morning schedule and Afternoon school schedule
Must be willing to undergo background checks, tuberculosis tests (skin test), and Drug test.
$40/trip plus $2 for each additional mile after the first 10 miles.
The number of trips available for each driver is 2-5 trips a day.
You will be servicing 1-3 students per trip.
Distance per trip is 2-7 miles (most trips)
The duration is 15-20 minutes
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
This is a self employee contractor job so you will receive 1099 by the end of the year
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
“Depends on school schedule” morning pick up schedule starts at 7:30 AM. In the afternoon, we pick up students from school at around 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM or 3:00 PM
