Primary Responsibilities
Create fun and interactive learning experiences.
Promote the social, physical, social-emotional, and intellectual growth of the children in your care.
Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus follow all licensing guidelines and HFCC standards to ensure a safe environment for every child.
Communicate and build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
Responsible for the supervision and daily classroom functions of a group of children.
Adhere to regulations of the Department of Human Services and HFCC policies and procedures.
Plan and implement approved lessons, activities and daily schedule in accordance with the HFCC curriculum.
Accept all responsibilities for cleanliness of the classroom and common areas of the center.
Work collaboratively with co-teachers and management team.
Promote a positive work environment.
Maintain professional personal appearance, personnel file and professional development plan, adhering to the guidelines with HFCC Employee Handbook.
Attend required staff meetings and complete necessary training.
Assists in other capacities as needed by the Director or Assistant Director.

Philadelphia, PA 19128: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
Desired Skills and Experience:
Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
Childcare: 2 year (Required)
High School Diploma required -Associates or BA in Early Childhood/Education or Human Services Field preferred
Two years of documented experience working with children specifically with infants.
Ability to obtain all childcare clearances and additional information for childcare compliance.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds in connection with handling children for child safety and emergency situations.
Friendly, nurturing and professional demeanor. Ability to conform to a schedule with reliability and dependability.
License/Certification:
Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred) or willing to obtain
