What we’re looking for:

*SUPERSTARS! As the proud parents of multiple award-winning publications, we are looking to expand our sales team with talented and motivated salespeople. We equip our sales team with mentorship, training, resources, and support. We are looking for qualified interns and experienced sales reps to join our team selling both print and digital ads, as well as sponsorships for our family of publications and events. IPW will provide comprehensive training, sales tools, leads, and training on CRM. We are as committed to your success as you are; our goal is to have you up and running within a week and building a book of business. We offer generous bonuses and commissions paid bi-weekly. Advancement opportunities are available after 90 days including promotion to Key Account Executive with a 60k base and commission with bonuses.

What you’ll do:
• Initiate sales daily through a variety of channels including calls, texts, and emails and LinkedIN.
• Organize client leads and activities in a professional manner.
• Maintain client information in a professional manner.
• Convert prospects to clients and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.
• Service existing accounts through follow up.
• Track and record client data, pipeline opportunities and ongoing communication.
• Prospect for new lead generation.

• Skilled in asking questions, tactfully responding, and overcoming objections.
• Eager to learn about IPW, our publications, and your role in promoting the areas our magazines cover.
• Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
• Able to effectively communicate with both clients and IPW team members.
• Someone who is eager to please, always looking for more to do, always wanting more responsibility, always wanting to know more than you think you need to know.

Preferred Qualifications:
• College degree in a related field such as marketing or business administration
• Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business and professional relationships
• The ability to learn new systems, processes, and platforms quickly
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
• Experience with ad sales a plus
• Experience with inside media and ad sales preferred
• Excellent phone skills

Location: Remote OR onsite in Denver, CO

Bonuses: monthly and yearly

Your weekly training pay will be $1000, in addition to a 20% commission for the first four weeks of training. During this initial training period, you will receive 10% of the contract when the client signs, and the remaining 10% will be paid once the client has paid in full, based on standard net 15 terms.

Following the four-week training period, your pay will be based solely on a 25% commission. This commission will also be split in two, with 12.5% paid upfront and the remaining 12.5% paid once the client has paid in full and based on standard net 15 terms. There is no cap on how much commission you can earn.

If your commissions fall short of $1383.20 per pay period (based on a 40 hour work week), you will be provided with a differential pay to ensure that you meet the minimum wage requirements.
