BCL has sold thousands of items for our clients in our restaurant supply, heavy equipment, farm equipment, heavy machinery, home goods, tools, medical equipment, store closing, inventory reduction, real estate, and land plot online auctions.
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for maintaining the needs of the warehouse and to ensure a safe, clean, and productive work environment for self and other team members.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Complies with all safety requirements
Move materials within the warehouse
Receive, unload, and organize inventory
Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around the warehouse
Operate power industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost
Lift up to 100 pounds
Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
Deliver and pick up items from vendors and customers
Help customers at our auction sites with inspection and checkout processes
Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions required
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location (which may vary from day to day) required
Must have reliable transportation and a willingness to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Exhibit good job performance and behavior as measured through indicators such as teamwork, attendance, quality, and productivity, etc.
Flexibility to work overtime preferred
This is an extremely physically demanding position often outdoors in hot/cold weather
Must have valid driver's license
Job Type: Part-time (Possibly FT)
Salary: $16.00 per hour
