You will have the opportunity to split your time between the East County of San Diego and the South Bay treating patients in their homes.
Mizuta & Associates Physical Therapy is a mobile outpatient orthopedic clinic with fourteen-year history in San Diego moved “beyond the clinic” in October 2017 and looking for some part time therapists to join our growing mobile outpatient orthopedic care team by treating patients at their homes/work/other sites. You set your own hours/schedule. We are currently looking for person to work in the East County and South Bay areas.
Our orthopedic model is focused on one patient per hour with no aides or techs. We have a business model that takes orthopedic care beyond our clinic. Looking for a therapist that is willing to treat orthopedic patients either in their home, work, or complex gym.
In today’s busy world we have found that offering a variety of treatment options is the best fit for our society. The current model of in clinic care does not work for all patients. We are capturing those patients that are not always able to fit into a traditional clinic mold. Our patient base is the new mom with back pain that cannot manage to get the newborn to the clinic with her to have treatment, the busy dentist that has neck pain and wants a treatment at lunch but does not have time to drive to the clinic, the runner that is frustrated that their track workouts are hurting and cannot figure out the problem, a patient with a total knee replacement that lives alone and is not yet cleared to drive, the busy executive that needs more exercises for posture. These clients can be treated either in their home or work or by telehealth to help them obtain the optimal outcome. Due to Covid-19 we have been growing in popularity as many patients are not ready to return to a PT clinic and want in home treatment to minimize their exposure.
The therapist must be an organized person, have access to a computer with reliable internet access, a CA PT license, and have experience in orthopedics, SNF, or neuro preferred, valid California driver’s license/ car insurance.
Compensation for 20-25 hours per week is 80-100k depending on experience
Please note that this is for orthopedics and we are not a certified home health care company and charting is standard PT eval/soap note. No Oasis forms need to be filled out for this position. All notes and scheduling are done electronically and may be done while you are treating your patient.
