Math Teacher
Hamilton Heights Christian Academy in Chattanooga, TN is looking for a full-time Math Instructor for the 2023-2024 school year and beyond. Applicants must possess a strong grasp of mathematical concepts and be able to integrate the use of technology in the classroom (training will be provided if necessary). Classes will include Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Statistics, and Pre-Calculus.

Requirements
Candidates must be a Christian and not afraid to share their witness/testimony with students.
Willingness to sign a statement of faith and lifestyle and must adhere to the guidelines set therein.
Must have at least a Bachelors Degree (Mathematics or Education preferred but not required) from an accredited college or university recognized by ACSI.
Must be able to obtain and maintain teacher certification with ACSI or hold a valid state license and complete ACSI’s Philosophy of Christian Education course.
Effectively manage classroom and discipline procedures to provide a positive classroom environment conducive to learning, including modeling effective teacher/parental partnering through timely communication with parents in support of student learning (e.g., posting of assignments, grades, conferencing, etc.).
Attend faculty meetings, chapel services, professional development days and other school functions related to one’s own area of responsibilities.
